What do i need to do?
1. Tell us you want to switch
Let us know which package you’d like and we’ll take a few details.
2. We set it up
We’ll confirm your order and keep you updated with its progress. You don’t need to do a thing. There’s no need to contact your existing internet service provider as we’ll do it for you.
3. You get started
Your new service should be up and running in up to 17 days. We’ll email or text you at every step of the way so you always know what’s happening. We’ll send you a new router and it couldn’t be quicker or easier to get going – even if you have more than one computer or games consoles to connect. Don’t forget we’re on the end of the phone if you need some help. That’s it!
Before you switch you need to have the following information ready:
- The telephone number (including area code) of the line you will be using to access the internet
- Your full address including postcode
- Your credit or debit card details
- Your bank or building society account number
- Your bank or building society branch sort code
- Your Tesco Clubcard number (if you have one)
Checklist to be eligible:
- You are over 18
- You are authorised to make a decision on broadband for your household
- You have a UK bank account
- You are UK resident
- You have an email address (as this will be our main route of contact)
- BT line required

With Tesco Broadband you will have the benefit of our UK call centre. Our friendly and knowledgeable team are on hand to talk to if you have any queries and we aim to deliver the best customer service for you.
Tesco Broadband offers unlimited downloads, but in order to provide a fair experience to all our customers, our service is subject to a Fair Usage Policy (FUP). Inclusive Call Features
As part of your package some great call features come included - last caller identification (1471) and withhold number (141). You can also opt in to take voicemail (1571) at no extra cost.
Inclusive Wireless Router
Tesco Broadband comes with a wireless router included. This router is already set up for you to connect and start using our network and will come with instructions of how to set it up (if you get stuck there is no need to worry our customer care team will be on hand to help guide you through).*
Collect Clubcard Points Monthly
If you have a Clubcard, you will be able to earn Clubcard points on your monthly bill. The points will be awarded on a monthly basis to your Clubcard account and will be visible on your monthly bill and quarterly Clubcard statement!
Tesco Line Rental
Tesco Broadband with inclusive calls package comes with Tesco line rental for £14.90, which means there is no need to pay BT, everything is on one simple Tesco Broadband bill.
